Do I Need an Appointment to Visit Soho Gem?

Soho Gem is open seven days a week:

Monday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Engagement ring and wedding band consultations are by appointment only on Saturdays and Sundays.

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday during regular business hours, but we highly recommend scheduling a bridal appointment to ensure one of our specialists is available to assist you.

How Long Is a Bridal Appointment?

Weekend bridal appointments typically last 30 minutes to one hour, giving you plenty of time to explore engagement ring styles and discuss design options.

Our bridal specialists have decades of experience in fine jewelry, and a GIA Graduate Gemologist is always available to assist with diamond and gemstone guidance.

What If I Need to Cancel or Reschedule?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call or email us as soon as possible.

If you expect to arrive more than 10 minutes late, we kindly ask that you notify our team so we can adjust your appointment accordingly.

During your engagement ring consultation at Soho Gem, one of our bridal specialists will guide you through our curated collection of engagement rings and bridal jewelry.

How Long Does It Take to Create a Custom Engagement Ring?

All of our custom engagement rings are designed and produced in our NYC workshop.

Most custom rings take approximately 4–5 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design.

Many custom pieces are first developed using Computer Aided Design (CAD), allowing you to review a detailed digital rendering of your ring before production begins.

Minor adjustments to CAD designs are common, but extensive revisions or complete design changes may require additional time and fees.

Do You Offer Rush Engagement Ring Services?

Yes. If you are working within a tight timeline, Soho Gem offers expedited production for select engagement ring styles.
